It's pretty much gotta be a 908.
Hi All
Picked up what was meant to be a 902-8A.
Turns out the rear cover is from a 902 but the body is definitely not.
It has a black tangerine, a days code of 1997, 46th week, and the Altec part number of 275x4, where x could be a 9, an 3 or an 8. No diaphragm.
Any thoughts on what the body is? Its got the shallow depth in the gap so the centering ring, and has a 1 inch throat exit.
Is there a list of these part numbers?
Thanks
Magnarc

Not all vegetables make good leaders.
Maybe post a pic or a link to it. 902 and 908 are the same except for the diaphragms. Not very thick either if your used to 802's.

Sorry guys, i meant 909.
902, and 908 have 7/8 throats, 1 inch on the 909.
Note the number on the gasket below.

bowtie thank you that's the same number as on the rim of mine, hidden under the rubber ring.
909 body with 902-8a cover.
I've seen 909s with just a loading cap and no full cover so I'd say this is where mine came from.
Thanks All.
